“I do, since I have a ship that can sail the oceans of this world, as well as in space.” Ahim replied, with a heart-shaped smile. ”But…I have forgotten my manners.” she said, studying this beautiful person that stood before her. She was different from other people on this planet….having a strange sense of power…and somewhere in the treasure chest, a Blue key would be glowing…but Ahim wouldn’t know of it. ”I’m Ahim de Famille, it’s nice to meet you. Might I have the honor of knowing your name?” she asked softly.
“Kasumi,” Mezool lied easily, flashing her a smile that was far too perfect to be genuine. This human might prove as entertaining as Miharu…
Ahim’s eyes narrowed slightly at the smile, but only for a second, before she smiled back. ”That’s a nice name.” she said, suspecting the smile, but showing that she could slip back into a facade too. ”Shall we walk together and explore further in this aquarium?” Ahim asked.
“Yes,” She said sweetly, gesturing for Ahim to lead. Mezool had no intention of showing any vulnerabilities around any human save for Miharu.
Ahim nodded, as they walked into a bigger section where the whales and other bigger amphibians swam around…she walked over, putting her hands to the glass. She knew something was up…but wouldn’t disturb the peace of the aquarium to find out what exactly it was..
Mezool wouldn’t have cared one way or another if she’d known the woman’s suspicions. Still, she stayed close to her, quiet and guarded.
“What troubles you?” Ahim asked softly, while not looking at her. ”This place is a place of peace…yet you’re all tense.”
“Wouldn’t you like to know.” There was a cruel edge to Mezool’s smile. She was testing to see the human’s reaction to this comment. “One should possess enough decorum to know better than to question a stranger so.”
“I had such decorum…once. I was mostly isolated and didn’t have a lot of friends as a result. So, I dropped it, sorry.” Ahim said softly, not being as hurt as she thought she would have been. “I suppose I would like to know, but I will respect your decision not to speak of it.”
Mezool wasn’t sure what to make of that, and merely scoffed in annoyance.
Ahim looked at her and smiled…before heading over to the gift shop with her, in silence.
